La Bonanza Avocado Toast

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of your favorite bread (sourdough, whole wheat, or rye)
  • 1 pack of La Bonanza Just Avocado Mash
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes (optional for a little heat)
  • 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)
  • 1 poached or fried egg (optional for extra protein)

Preparation:

1. Toast the Bread:

Toast your bread slices to your preferred level of crispiness, either in a toaster or on a skillet with a little olive oil for added flavor.

2. Prepare the Avocado Mash:

Open the pack of La Bonanza Just Avocado Mash. It’s ready to use, so simply scoop out the mash into a small bowl.

Add a tablespoon of olive oil and a splash of lemon juice to the mash. Mix well to create a creamy, flavorful spread. Season with salt, pepper, and optional chili flakes for a little kick.

3. Assemble the Toast:

Spread a generous amount of the avocado mash over each slice of toasted bread, making sure to cover the entire surface evenly.

4. Garnish and Serve:

Top with halved cherry tomatoes for a burst of freshness (if using).

Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley for a pop of color and added flavor.

For extra protein, add a poached or fried egg on top for a delicious and filling meal.
